Happy Birthday, America!

Flags flying.

Bikes decked out in red, white, and blue.

Ready for the neighborhood parade.

Led by a squad car.

The lone uni rider.

Afterwards...

Popsicles at the park...

and a recitation of the Declaration of Independence
some monkeying around.

Mary Kate's festive lunch creation.

A flagwich:
Open face cream cheese sandwich with craisins and blueberries.

Happy 4th of July, y'all!

What are you eating, wearing, & doing today?

A neighborhood Fourth of July parade? How wonderful!

I hope the rest of your day was just as festive and fun!

You have such a fun neighborhood! We were the ONLY people out in our neighborhood the whole day- seriously! But that's nothing new. It's like ghost town here all the time! We were out ALL day cleaning up around the yard, kids playing, etc. Then- later at night- had Steph and the kids over for BBQ and fireworks in the driveway. Still- it was just us outside. So weird!

What a great way to celebrate! In one of our precious neighborhoods, the neighbors would deck out their riding mowers in red, white and blue and pull the kids around the block in trailers--it was so fun! Glad you had a great 4th!

Blessings!
